High Season (November-May)
Our remote beach is NOT operated by any of the speed ferry companies. Only a few companies stop at the piers closest to our path, BuvaSea and G.T.V.C.. Please book your ticket with your guesthouse in Cambodia, any travel agency, the ferry offices in town or online. Your destination port on the island will be Saracen Bay, Koh Rong Sanloem, from where you will start a ~40 minute jungle trek to Sunset Beach. You’ll find the beginning of the trail next to THE DIVE SHOP CAMBODIA.
You can also take the speed ferry to M'pay Bay Village in the north of the island with G.T.V.C speed boat & BuvaSea and hire yourself a private transfer with a longtail boat for 25 - 40$ to Sunset Beach.
Low Season (May-November)
Due to windy and wavy conditions (most between may-september) our remote beach is NOT operated by any boats.

Wear comfortable shoes and pack light in a backpack, it’s a hard walk!
To Think About
Walk in comfortable shoes. Pack light, in a backpack. Bring a flashlight, mosquito-repellent. There is no shop on Sunset Beach. And remember we have limited WiFi-connection so please have understanding for slow replies! We only connect to Internet one hour/day so our answer might take some time, thank you for your understanding!
It’s a good idea to download/study the way (you find a video here on the homepage) because you will not have internet access on the path.
It’s a simple lifestyle on Sunset Beach, with limited electricity, no hot-water shower, wifi only available at Robinson Bungalows, and you living in a jungle so there might be some insects and other animals around!
This is a remote part of the island, come prepared.
